Attendance Recovery Plan
Posted on 08/05/2021
Daily attendance is critical to student learning and success.  Your child’s education is our top priority and we want to work together to ensure their academic success.

2021 - 2022 JR Attendance Recovery Plan

  • Student attendance is so important to the progress of your child. As per state requirements, students must attend 90% of school days in order to be promoted to the next grade level.
  • The Parent Liaison, along with instructional staff, call when students are absent.
  • Parent Conferences take place as students accrue a certain number of absent days.
  • Conferences with students take place between students and administration in the upper grades as appropriate.
  • Students with 10 or more absences will be assigned a make-up opportunity in the Content Mastery Lab to work on Waterford
in PK-2 and IStation in grades 3-5. Parents are notified during
    the conference.
  • Make-up hours can be made up in the computer labs or Content
Mastery before school, after school, during Block or during PE.
Two days of make-up attendance will count as one day of
    attendance recovery.
  •  On an individual basis, other arrangements may be made at a parent’s
request to meet the individual needs of the student and approved by the Campus Attendance Committee.
